What we do

ihateemail.ai connects to your Gmail account (with your explicit consent) to classify messages and apply actions you choose (mark read or move to Trash). We request the minimal scopes necessary for this: Google sign-in (openid, email, profile) and gmail.modify.

Data we process

• We process message metadata and snippets to classify importance.
• Processing is ephemeral in serverless functions. We do not persist message content on our servers.
• Operational logs exclude message content and are used only for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

Tokens & security

OAuth tokens are used solely to call the Gmail API on your behalf. You may revoke access at any time from your Google Account: Settings → Security → Third‑party access.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We only interact with Google APIs to perform the actions you request.

Data deletion

Because we do not store message content, revoking Google access effectively deletes our access to your data.
